The Challenges We Address

At TechBridge Foundation, our initiatives are designed to directly dismantle the four primary barriers preventing female participation in the digital economy.

The Knowledge & Educational Gap

Women lack the basic tech exposure, foundational skills, and visible mentors needed to enter STEM careers.

Socio-Cultural Barriers & "Gatekeeping"

Traditional gender norms and the strict need for family or community approval restrict women from pursuing technology.

Economic Disparities & The Cost of Inclusion

High training and equipment costs force families to prioritize immediate survival over digital skill development.

Severe Infrastructure Deficits

A lack of laptops, unreliable electricity, and high data costs put a hard ceiling on professional growth.

Understanding the Gap: The 2026 Barrier Analysis

Our recent survey of women across the 19 Northern States revealed a critical Digital Paradox: 95.5% of Arewa women want to build tech solutions, but only 7.3% have the skills to do so.

Our programs are exclusively designed for women and girls across the 19 Northern States of Nigeria. Whether you are a secondary school student exploring tech for the first time, a university undergraduate, or a female SME owner looking to scale your business, we have a pathway for you.

Not at all. We understand that relying solely on mobile phones limits professional growth. Our community digital hubs are fully equipped with the necessary laptops, reliable backup power, and fast internet access so you can learn and create without needing your own hardware.

Eliminating financial barriers is our top priority. Thanks to our generous partners and sponsors, the majority of our core programs, including EmpowerHER and our regional digital bootcamps—are either completely free or heavily subsidized.

Yes! You do not need prior experience—just ambition. We offer foundational tracks built specifically for absolute beginners. We will guide you step-by-step from basic digital literacy all the way to advanced skills and certifications.

We operate on a hybrid model. Because we know that high data costs and unreliable electricity are major hurdles, our core intensive trainings take place in physical, community-based tech hubs, supplemented by online mentorship and continuous learning platforms.
